Thank you and nice job on your tournament. Plenty of space, good quality matches with most our kids getting several and getting out of there at a good time. Surfaces were good sized and I liked the 1.5min periods for the 10U. It confirmed some's conditioning and exposed others. smile

An opportunity I saw and heard was on the 8 mans with 6 people in them vs. 6 man RR. Something to consider for the next one.

Also, since Smoky was taking time off on his BCS/LCS job to wat HS wrestling I presume (where's your priorities man!)... I have to say the B's&G's for breakfast and the Pulled Pork for lunch were fantastic!

Thank you.

Joe - Thanks for stepping up to the Plate or buffet. You have just become a full-time assistant.

Joe & Tuff,

You have proven that you both know trackwrestling. But - I am having a tournament with a couple of professionals. You two will be in the bracket with these guys as the 2 and 3 seed. Takeru Kobayashi will be the 1 seed. No weigh-ins since Kobayashi only weighs 131 pounds.

Hotdogs may have been invented in America - but when it comes to eating them, the Japanese are still the best on the planet. At the 2006 World Hotdog Eating Championships on July 4th on Coney Island, NY, Takeru Kobayashi broke his own world record by eating 53 and 3/4 hotdogs in just 12 minutes to win the title for the sixth straight year! That's more than one dog every 15 seconds!
Takeru Kobayashi proved he's the fastest eater on the planet, even though he was pushed by American record-holder, Joey Chestnut, who ate 52 hotdogs at the 2006 contest. Takeru is a lean, mean, 131-pound eating-machine who had to beat out other hardcore eaters from around the globe. For being the world champion, Takeru Kobayashi picked up a trophy, the championship belt and, most importantly, a year's supply of hotdogs.
Other Eating Records
• Ken Edwards ate 24 live cockroaches in 60 seconds.
• Dustin Phillips drank 14 ounces of ketchup through a straw in 33 seconds.
• Sonya Thomas ate 432 oysters in ten minutes
