Ok, what 3a, 4a, 5a, and 6a have the toughest. 4a has been claimed by SJA. So 3, 5 and 6?

6A Garden City

They host the toughest tournament in Kansas which top teams from Kansas, New Mexico, Colorado, and Texas. They go to Amarillo, TX for a pretty good dual tournament. They go to the Colby and Goodland duals where they typically meet up with good teams like Colby, Valley Center, Scott City, and Norton in the finals. They also go east to Newton and Derby for 2 of the top 5 two day events in Kansas.

5A is kind of a tossup.

I would say Emporia, Pittsburg, and Bishop Carroll all have tough schedules.

However, I will say that Ark City has the toughest schedule in 5A.

They have a good combination of duals and quality tournaments.
They go to two Oklahoma tournaments that most teams in the state of Kansas would not stand a chance in. The OCU duals I believe are new this year and will have Tulsa Union which is a top 20 nationally ranked program and I'm sure there are many others who will be in attendance. The Perry tournament is also a tough outing. They also go to Newton, Derby, and Rose Hill which are probably 3 out of the top 8 two day tournaments in Kansas.
In duals they have to match up with Derby, Andover Central, Valley Center, and Blackwell, OK.

4A Saint James Academy

Hands down the toughest schedule in the state. I don't even need to explain.

321A Norton

They go to Newton which is one of the best tournaments in Kansas. They are in the toughest 321A league which is the MCL. They dual Kearney, NE which is a good program. Also, they go to the Clay Center tourney which is one of the best one day events in Kansas.

That is one reason Ark City is known for having wrestlers come in with below average records and then doing well at state.
