Just walked in the door from Stillwater. The Sooner Kansas contingent was out in force. Goddard fans drove down to cheer on Caldwell and I saw Dave Keller and Mr. Maple. Tyler Caldwell's father, grandfather and grandmother were in attendance. Greg Buckbee (Ark City High School head wrestling coach) and his wife and son were in attendance.
What is clear is with the addition of Coach Sammie Henson to the Sooner coaching staff there has been dramatic improvement in the Sooner program.

Good to see you all last night. Even Ray Kramer.
Now to the Dual.
Great start for Perry. Shmidke is a beast and Perry wrestled him tough. His conditioning made the difference.
I was hoping Foster could have put Kendrick away.
HUGE win for Roshalt. Fernandez can't get away from the Rosholt family.
125 could have went either way. I thought there was a bad non call made on the false start that put the match in Patterson's hands...still you have to get out no matter who is riding you. That being said...Patterson is so tough on top good luck getting away.
Oliver is in a different league.
Bailey is a constant for OU. He comes to wrestle every day. He will make a splash at NCAA's.
Parks shoots 2 takedowns and gets 2. He should have 10-12 attempts per match. there is no one faster at that weight. He is spending too much time inside.
White????? any insight as to why he did not choose down to start the 3rd. Lester fought off every takedown and OU is always in good shape so what was going to change in the 3rd?
In my mind the match of the night. I really don't know what to say about this one. Baily played with fire and was fortunate not to get burned. Nelson is a pinning machine and I was waiting the entire match to see him pull something off. this could have gone either way. good match.
Tyler Caldwell could be the toughest person to take down. Benefil was in a couple of times and Caldwell did not panic and got out. Good match and TC dominated with Benifill never really in it.
