Here is a link to the new Intermat Rankings released today.

http://intermatwrestle.com/rankings/college

I see Nelson is #19 at 165 and Caldwell #7 at 174.

Has Erisman lost his starting spot?

I think Jordan Keller should be in the mix soon. He beat #15 Ben Ashmore a couple of weeks ago.

New Rankings out this week:

The Intermat rankings actually gave the Kansas boys some love. Caldwell #7, Nelson #18 and Disney at #20. Three young guys climbing the ladder.

The Open Mat has new rankings out today and I'd say the KS guys at OU are now officially on the radar.

http://news.theopenmat.com/2011/01/tom-di-college-wrestling-rankings-1-3-2011/

Keller at #16; Nelson at #7; Caldwell to #4

Erisman is in now at #14 for the Pokes.

For it to have any impact, you will need to attach a check in the amount of several million dollars!

I think first and foremost Kansas Wrestling needs to support the colleges it has first before trying to get the division 1 banner in the state. I think it's great to have goals, but I would love for all college coaches in the state from the 8 schools with collegiate wrestling to post the attendance total of their next home dual competition and let's see if we can even get butts in the seats for those!

1st. good to see the KS guys in the mix. Congrats.

2nd. Going through this I noticed that Darrion Caldwell was ranked #1 at 149. That just doesn't seem right. He has not competed in a year and a half and has won one match this year.

Also...How is Blake Rosholt not ranked???? He has beat 2 in the top 20??? I know that it is a stretch to get him ranked, but he has beat 2 good ones.

Chief??? Richard??? Thoughts???
