At 184 lbs. ISU's Boaz Beard scores a major decision over Derek Stanley, 19-5. Army wins the dual 23-22.

"The final match of the night was another anticipated one as it pit No. 9 Chris Perry against No. 12 Boaz Beard. Perry picked up a takedown with 27 seconds left in the opening period to take a 2-0 lead into the second. He built his advantage to 5-0 after escaping from and taking down Beard in the second. Perry added a third takedown to open the third and score his seventh point before Beard scored his first. Beard finally got on the board with 22 seconds remaining with a reversal. Perry quickly escaped and his 1:18 riding time advantage gave him a 9-2 decision."

Redshirt sophomore Boaz Beard won a tight match against Iowa's Vinnie Wagner. Beard posted a takedown and a two-point near fall midway through the first period to enter the second with a 5-3 lead. With a quick escape and takedown in the second period, Beard extended his lead 8-4. Wagner battled back in the third period against Beard, but the Wichita, Kan., native's 1:00:02 riding time secured the 10-9 decision for the Cyclone 184-pounder.
