It looks like this tourney mostly fills the void left by the UNO Kauffman/Brand (sp) tourney. I don't see SDSU, Wartburg, Augustana, and a few others but I'm not sure they have been an K/B in recent years either. The UNC and Lindenwood tourney are this weekend, any others in the midwest?

Kearney, Neb. – The 4th-ranked Nebraska-Kearney wrestling team will host the biggest tournament in program history with this Saturday's UNK Holiday Inn Open at the Buffalo County Fairgrounds. Around 30 teams will take part in the non-team scoring event that will be held in the new Exposition Center. The action will start at 9:00 a.m., on 12 mats, and run until the late evening hours. Tickets are $ 10.00 for adults and $ 6.00 for seniors (60 plus) and youths (ages 5-18). Kids under four are free. This open tournament helps replace Nebraska-Omaha's Kaufman-Brand Open, which annually was the biggest collegiate tournament in the county. Among the schools that will be represented Saturday include Division I members Iowa, Nebraska, Wyoming, Air Force and North Dakota State, area Division II schools such as Chadron State, Fort Hays State and Central Missouri, NAIA-members Hastings and York and a slew of junior colleges and several club teams. Due to the size of the field, there will be two divisions and brackets will be updated throughout the day at www.lopers.com.

Thanks Coach. UNK has always had bad on-line media. Their website was a single page up until last year or the year before. I saw the fancy new website and had high hopes....but.....

Well...The competition is still good up there but the online media is not. It's high time that all school recognize the importance of disseminating sports information online! Lindewood does look like a solid little tourney.
Maryville has continued with the old UNO tradition of first rate online information. You can search "Maryville Wrestling Livestream" on FB and you'll find a live video feed from Lindenwood.

LCC Results from the Nebraska-Kearney Open
Jordan Basks wins his second tourney in a row and Ethan Orr grabs his first title for the cards. Had another finalist in Davenport, one third place finish, three fourth place finishers, and four fourth place finisher. Pretty solid results in a good sized tourney. Most of the brackets were 32 man with a fair amount of byes.
Amateur Division:
Garrett Jones (125) 4th Juan Zorilla (125) 5th Eric Hughes (133) 5th Jordan Basks (141) Champ Jeremy Davenport (149) 2nd Austin Legg (149) 4th Devin Aguirre (157) 4th Ethan Orr (174) Champ Josh Hamilton (184) 3rd Kyle Buckley (184) 5th Zach Anderson (197) 5th
