The final preseason training semester (Number 4) will start this Sunday and run up to the start of the high school and youth folkstyle seasons.
This last semester of 2012 supplemental training continues to offer multiple session per week allowing wrestlers numerous opportunities to workout within a given 7 day cycle. There is an added Tuesday night session at Mill Valley, KS High School this semester. Moreover, there will be a couple of featured Sunday sessions included that allow wrestlers to train in Savannah, MO at the House of Pain with clinician Coach Gary Mayabb from 10-5pm. The dates and detailed information will be provided during the semester.
Wrestlers who cannot commit to the all the nights of training offered per week still have the ability to come in and train according to what fits their schedule. In my opinion, all wrestlers should be on the mat at least once a week especially now with the upcoming folkstyle season right around the corner.
If your wrestler can get in several hours of advanced training before the start of the regular season then the transition will be much smoother as far as getting back into wrestling shape and sharpening the muscle memory and technique that tends to fade as you step away from the mat.
Below is a list of tentative dates for the 4th training semester. All workouts will be at Park Hill HS in the wrestling room unless designated otherwise. The House of Pain Sunday special session dates and times will be communicated later in the semester.

I would like to announce the addition of Brian Graham to the Greater Heights staff for a significant portion of the 4th semester. Brian will be on staff before heading west to the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs to pursue his goals in the sport of wrestling. He was an 2X All-American for Missouri Valley.
The fee once again is only $75 per athlete ($60 for any additional siblings) for the semester with 25 total sessions offered and more than 50 hours of training. If wrestlers cannot make tomorrow's session and want to sign up for the semester then they are free to do that at the next attended session. The focus of training will be learning and development in the Greater Heights wrestling system with continued emphasis on strength training and conditioning. For those wrestlers who cannot commit to the entire training semester, they may attend any scheduled workout for the cost of $10 per practice. Payment should be made at the attended practice.
Please let me know if you have any questions about the 4th and final training semester that begins tomorrow afternoon.
