The 22nd edition of the Kansas City Metro Classic, an all-star dual between Team Missouri and Team Kansas, will be held, March 11th at 6:30 pm! The location is the KCKCC Fieldhouse!
One of my favorite events of the year!
Who is favored??

Yes, Missouri has a some very talented and Nationally ranked wrestlers! However, the Metro will have probably 14 or 15 matches! I can't wait!!

one suggestion for the committee:
Please have the individuals wrestke at the weight class they wrestled at for the season.
the thinking "We have a 132 kid that could wrestle at 126 with the 7 lb allowance" is just BS.
If you are 132 in the season, then 132 at Metro classic.
If you have more than one at 132 so be it.
Please.

... the PTB will have a few tough decisions! Lambotte, Toelkes ... several others are in the mix! Tasty match ups ... you bet!!
Is Fredonia within the radius?? Or St. Mary? LOL
(I won't apologize for trying to get a couple of 3,2,1 A wrestlers on the team)

As long as there is a 7lb allowance you have to use it. It is ok as long as both wrestlers weigh what they are supposed to. Who cares what the weight class called. Does it really matter?

The intent was kids are tired and it's been a long season. Give them enough allowance they can just have fun. The result however is some kids go down a weight. Not right or wrong just a fact.

These are seniors. If they have to make scratch weight 2 weeks after state they will most likely say "NO THANKS". They have been watching their weight for over three months.

Bado hit the intent - And Will you did also.
So who makes the suggestion to move down? And for what reason? Great event! Line up and wrestle.

St. Marys is within the 60 miles, and Tooley at 45 would certainly be on my team! The kid is the real deal!

Is Jeff west within the radius? I'm guessing so. At 145 we have Olsen and Tujague. Tooley vs Tujague at your tournament Harry.
