Coaches, Officials, Fans and Friends of Wrestling,
The First Annual Wrestling Coaches Breakfast to Promote Wrestling in North Carolina
Please spread the word for the first annual North Carolina Wrestling Coaches Breakfast on Wednesday, Oct. 15th, 9:30 at the State Farmers Market in Raleigh. The state of Pennsylvania started one three years ago with 27 people in attendance and last year they had over 150 attend.
The first annual Wrestling Coaches Breakfast to promote wrestling in the state of North Carolina will take place at the State Farmers Market Restaurant in Raleigh on Wednesday, October 15th at 9:30 am. The goal is to bring the 10 collegiate wrestling programs in the state of North Carolina together and give a preview of our up-coming seasons to the public. Each head coach will speak three minutes on their schedule and their team outlook. We are inviting high school coaches, retired coaches, wrestling officials, the media, and fans.
The state of NC has much to be proud of in the wrestling community including numerous NCAA Champions, hosting the NCAA Tournament and possessing the second most division I collegiate programs in the country, with seven. Only Pennsylvania has more with 11.
Commitments from the NC State and UNC Coaching staffs have confirmed their attendance, so Olympic Silver Medalist Jamel Kelly and Olympic Bronze Medalist Coleman Scott will be there as both are assistant coaches at NC State and the U. of North Carolina respectively.
Cost of the event is free and attendees can order from the menu. Please RSVP to this email so we can give the restaurant a number count.
Respectfully Yours,
Coach Baranik
