Wow...
There were so many great stories of our Kansas guys battling on the biggest national team stage. Just flat out proud of the 37 wrestlers that paid the price in Tulsa. As listed above, Isaac Dulgarian went 14-0 and Jared Langley went 15-0. What a way to finish as seniors representing their home state!
Thank you...
I will start with our coaching staff of Jesse Thielke, Curtis Chenoweth, Ryne Cokeley and Pat Kelly. The instruction that our teams got from Jesse Thielke was as substantial as I have seen over a one week period! To a man, every wrestler improved. We were blessed to have Jesse's passion and commitment to raise the bar for our entire team. Thank you to Curtis, Ryne and Pat for keeping that momentum going over a grueling week of non-stop action. Thank you also to our FS/GR director Will Cokeley, his wife Beth and his son Reese. Once again the Cokeley family was all-in to help make this trip a success. Our pre-camp at Neosho County Community College was a key part of preparing our guys for battle. Thank you to the Head Coach of the Panthers, Wayne Petterson for making us feel welcome at the college.
Now, on to Fargo!
