Pretty good dual with some greatly contested matches that came down to the wire. UCO won 6 of 10 matches and 2 of those were by falls. Ubben won a clutch match for Hays at HWT against Finn of UCO and Leavitt and Nordhues was amazing going into 3ot sessions! Good job to both teams tonight!
By the way the attendance was 388 for the dual.
Hays wrestles Saturday at 2pm v. Truman State.

UCO is tough!!! Everyone talks about wrestling being such an indivdual sport and it certainly is. But UCO is a great example of wrestlers feeding off each other. I imagine the practice room is very competitive. BTW Sweazy, what did u think of the Fort Hays PA annnouncer? Pretty damn good, huh?

Was that you Mike? LOL...I would have come and said hi. You weren't to far from me when you asked if Finn or Leadingfox was out there. One tip if a team has two guys out there at a possible weight announce them both! By the way good to see Hammeke, haven't seen him since my announcing days at Butler. Practice room is competitive, very competitive...some weights have 2 to 3 All Americans!
