I am glad to hear that they went out in style with a win. Most of us don't get to do that! Remember Meister's best finish in HS was 5th! He sat out a year, and now he is a 3x All-American in college, with a Junior College title. Hard work pays off! Delk was always a warrior ready to rise to the challenge. Watching him win that RMAC title against the then #1 was something special. It was great to see those two come out with some hardware. I know they wanted the yellow medal, but we don't always get what we want. They were right there through it all though. Congratulations to the two of them on outstanding wrestling careers. Now let's see Nordhues bring it home to cap off his.
Meister is a testement of great work ethic, heart and desire. For those that Aaron, he is also down right humble and will be a phenomenal coach if he choses to go down that career path.
Nordhues lost a tough one tonight. He was winning and aparently "got caught" according to accounts on themat.com and was pinned with about 30 seconds to go in the match. Even in defeat, it doesn't negate the fact Mr. Nordhues is an All American and made everyone proud that supports Kansas wrestling (even if he's a transplant

)
Congrats to Delk as well as the entire staff of Fort Hays State on a phenomenal year. I expect many bright things from them in years to come and this might have been the stepping stone to Bickley's Boys bringging bragging rights back (Say that 3 times fast!)
