Okay, I have set up the other league at http://www.nfl.com You will need to register for the league but it is not hard to do. I have done various fantasy football leagues in the past and like http://www.nfl.com the best. This league is also set up with a live draft, which you can do or not. The draft is sometimes the longest part of the league but it is fun. The draft will occur on August 19, 2005, 7:00 PM ET.

You will go to http://www.nfl.com and on the left of the screen you will click on the Fantasy link. You will need to access the private league and the league name is Kansas Wrestling Fans. The password for the league is kansaswrestl . I will let this go through this Saturday before going onto the Mat or other locations to open up the league. Again, this is a live draft league but you don't have to be present at the draft, you can actually set up your preferences prior to the draft. Good luck and get ready to learn from the experience of a regular fantasy football player. Some of you is gonna get whooped! Be original and let the trash talking begin. By the way, since it is a Kansas only thing to start, I think that we all agree that everyone agrees to give the winner of the league a wrestling related t-shirt item from his or her school or club, or from one of their favorite college teams. Makes it kind of fun.

All signed up and ready to go! btw, how does the live draft work when most all of the people will be from different parts of the state? is it done via IM or a chat box during draft day, all my other leagues i have participated in via live draft were with people from work where we all got together at someones house or something to do the drafting. Thanks in advance.

Draft will take place on nfl.com, should be instructions in the league box. You may want to set up your priority box prior to the draft. Right now there are 5 teams with the following:

Mike Furches: Kansas Twisters
Klint Deere: RunningDeeres
Tony Avallone: DALLAS COWBOYS
gage deere: gmachines
Craig Gash: Panthers

my browser crashed on me as well right before one of my picks (think it was 2nd round) but thankfully I have Broadband and was able to load up with a different browser before my time was up on my pick. I agree that queueing up your order had some MAJOR advantages to it (especially if you were having any problems during the draft) Had a lot of fun with it and I wish everyone good luck in their race for 2nd place!

Don't leave my Weavers out of it though. I may have been unable to be in the live draft due to some computer problems, but I've been making a few pick ups here and there to improve the team.

Playing at NE he may be one of the only ones to score tonight. I had jano for a couple of years in another league and he never panned out. The addition of Randy Moss will help his scoring potential this year for sure.

Finals & likely winners this week.

Kansas Twisters 97 - Shawnee Jaguars 25 (Jaguars still has defense from the Giants tonight, will unlikely score enough points to beat the mighty Twisters.)

Wardogs 105 - Fat Man 4ever 68 (Fat Man 4ever still has TE Whitten to play tonight, will unlikely score enough points to take the victory.)

Panthers 86 (still has WR P. Burress to play tonight, should gain enough points to guarantee the win) - 39ers 63 (39ers still has WR K. Johnson to play tonight, unlikely that he will score enough points to get the win, possible, but unlikely.)

gmachines98 - The Migrant Workers 95 in a barn burner close game. This one is done.

Underwater Basket Weavers 85 (still has WR J. Horn tonight, should add a few points) RunningDeeres 23 (RunningDeeres still has RB D. McAllister to play tonight and Cowboys Defense. It is unlikely that they will gain enough points to garnish the win.)

Hairy Beavers 101 (still has T. BArber to play tonight so should increase their lead) - Dallas Cowboys 58 The win is guaranteed as the Cowboys have scored all of their points.

Current standings out tomorrow.

One of the things that makes it fun, is knowing the people or having some association with them. I can honestly say, that while this is a league I still want to win, it is also a league that is a lot more fun because of the association.

Regarding the underachieving, get those deers to quit looking at the headlights coming their way, and you will do better. I must say that I was surprised at some of the scores this week, among those was the points from the RunningDeeres. It is one thing to loose but to loose to a Chenoweth Coached team has to be bad.

What is so bad, is that I expect Chenoweth to spend about 5 minutes a week on the league, checking scores and that is about it.

I've spent a lot of time scouting all the players out. That is probably one of the reasons I have Tatum Bell as one of my starting running backs. lol. And Mike, if you look at the scores, I scored the second most points in the league. I just know who to play at the right time, such as my Bears defense and not starting Joey Harrington this week. That could have been really ugly. lol.

Hey klint deere, wanna propose a trade? i am willing to give up Cedric Benson (CHI RB) and Marcus Pollard (DET TE) for Ronnie Brown and Ben Watson. don't know if it can help you but at least get rid of a negative scorer in Watson.

Then again, the problem with Chenoweth might be that he has too much time to spend on the league. Just kidding Curtis. I am also looking at doing some trading this week. Need a running back. I have a back up quarterback and a couple of receivers available.

Klint, check out my player roster right away. I am looking for another running back, but have a couple of waiver requests in right now. Once those moves are made I likely will close down the receivers I have available.

I really need a running back too Mike. I've got 3 pretty talented wide recievers, but not so much talent at the running back position. I'm looking forward to week 10 Mike.

I don't know what it means, but it says I'm currently the number 1 ranked coach. Not to bad for a guy that doesn't spend much time on the internet.

I think it is like member of the moment on the forums here.

I'm still looking for a running back, would trade 2 or even 3 for one if the right kind of offer off of my trade list mentioned above.

I don't know, we had a pretty close game. I hope that my team will get a rematch sometime soon. Just let me get a running back that can score some touchdowns.

I would almost concede this week. My only two good running backs are in their off week, well except for Ricky Williams who is still serving his suspension, and I have had to pick up some players to use from waivers, who between the two of them might get 5 points for me. Just hope I get to go against Wardogs again on down the road. I guess anything can happen, hopefully, it is that the Twisters pull off a huge upset this week.

The match of the week could be the Hairy Beavers going up against the RunningDeeres, should be close and fun to watch.

ouch, that is tough with a LOT of your players going to earn 0 points this week (byes and suspensions) a little planning could have avoided this situation. Maybe McNabb will have a super outstanding game for you this week to make up for the loss of 2 productive RBs. Oh and how in the WORLD did we let the wardogs get BOTH LT and Westbrook, wow! all i can say is "wow!"

Oh and how in the WORLD did we let the wardogs get BOTH LT and Westbrook, wow! all i can say is "wow!"
I made some crazy trade offers, mostly 2 for 1 and even one 3 for 1 to get a running back. Some teams are holding on to players and that is okay. Truth is the running backs this year are not at the numbers as in the past.

I know this doesn't have anything to do with the last few posts. But here's the website to my main point scorer Randy Moss.

http://www.therealrandymoss.com/rmoss/

They've got a couple of crazy things on there. Such as the mask of him with the giant afro for $50.

Saw this too late, I would have been interested and sure could have used them this week. I will check out everything this afternoon and see what I have left if you are still interested in working something out.

I really think my guys are afraid of the endzone. I only had 2 guys score touchdowns for me.

I think that right now the Running Deeres and Kansas Twisters have like a 1 point spread, in favor of Running Deeres. This could be a close one. Makes me wonder what happens if there is a tie.

We are on. It will be fun. By the way Klint, are you going to be helping coach the KU Club team? Read you were but didn't know for sure. Should be fun.

By the way, saw that there are two 1 point games this week. Wardogs and 39ers, and Hairy Beavers and Migrant workers is only a 4 point game.

Alrighty then, should be an interesting weekend, i sure hope McNabb makes it through the day for you.

Shane Miller and I have been approved by KU and should be up and running a bit next week.
i am going to help with as much as i can, most likely will be on Tuesday evenings and saturdays until high school. With my group home kids and day job i am squeezed a bit, but i think it is very important to help where i can,,

chat at you later, off to football

It is one of the weekend that the injury bug can hit me. I hope Donavan gets through the game, but for some reason, I don't think you really do. I do have a pretty good back up QB that I may end up getting in depending on how the day goes and what transpires between now and game time.

Tried to make a couple of adjustments to have a better chance. Don't know much more that I can do. If my qb don't make it through the game I will be sending you a shirt. If he does, it will be a pretty close game.

Don't worry, you'll get to play the Twisters before long. In a barn burner right now with a score of 44-39.

We ought to get a bunch of us together one Sunday downtown at the Old Town Warren to watch the games and follow the Fantasy league. It would be fun. Right now my team is scoring a little bit. Score is 78-41, there is a lot that can yet happen though. My other team at The Mat is doing really well as of late, much better than my Kansas only league.

I can't help but feel a little shafted. My team scored the third most points, but I still lost. How does that happen? lol.

You play a team that has among the two most points. The first week I played, I had the second most points and lost because I played the team that had the most. Depending on how my kicker does tonight I may end up having the most points for the week again tonight after all. Tcarmona is in the other league I am in and if he don't pick it up soon, he will have a hard time making the playoffs. Looks like my team pulled it out against the Running Deeres. That shirt will look nice. I will say that his players did quite well actually and his kicker had a whale of a game in Mexico. Thankfully my QB toughed it out and made it through the game. Just think the #1 Fantasy Player so far was the #7 overall pick. I got a good one there.

okay i think im gonna have to stop benching young Manning, I think he has proven himself worthy of the starting spot on my roster. (now that I say this he will probably go in the tank or worse get injured for the rest of the season)

Don't know if you would be interested in the Falcons or not. They would have scored 23 for me yesterday if I had played them. I also have the Bucs that I would consider for the right trade. Willing to talk if need be on the trade.

That sucks. That happened to me last week with Joe Horn. And if I'm not mistaking, this is the first post of the new page. I almost feel honored. My team my not be all that great, but at least I can have honors like this. lol.

I had a player that as well was hurt and no one knew it, Braylon Edwards and I lost all of his points. Loosing a WR is not as bad as a QB though. You still have a chance, good luck and will be glad to admit this is one I lucked out on.

Can anybody help me? I am in diar need of a ground game. This was a bad week with Randy Moss in a bye week and then Duce Staley not even playing and then Jake Plummer having a dismall performance. Is there anyone needing a wide reciever, I have a few of those I'd be willing to trade for a decent running back.

Ricky Williams for Randy Moss, possibly another back for Moss or a lesser running back for a good receiver, look at my players and make an offer, but that would be a pretty good trade off.

I could have used Pitman today, however, even with a 17 point swing I think I would still have lost. My team just had a bad day, but look out, my best players bye week is now over. I think that from here on out the Twisters is going to be tough to beat.

I finally had huge games from my running backs, but neither Randy Moss or Joe Horn scored a single point. I can't catch any breaks at all.

One of the things that is bad, is that an Oklahoman with the team of Dallas Cowboys, is tied for first. leading one of the divisions, and is tied with the best record in the league. Well at least he knows where to come to for action.

i believe i said this earlier in this thread, beware of the players on my team they all seem to get hurt. Now Priest Holmes is listed as doubtful with an injured spine...good thing we have LJ on the Chiefs so we can still run the ball. Good luck to all this week, and hopefully all your favorite players stay off the injured lists!!

I am on a downward spiral. I don't have the worst team in the league, but close. I better start playing or this will be the worst fantasy team ever. In my other league, I am winning it, and in first place by a couple of games.

Man Mike, you had it tough this week. Not b/c you played me, but b/c your guys stunk it up overall. McNabb and Larry Fitzgerald were your only productive guys. That stinks.

is Plummer playing at NY or at home that should answer your question for ya. Plummer stinks it up whenever he is not at home.
