112 - Cody Bell by pin I think
119 - Waters by pin
145 - great match - Erisman pins Eden in 3rd period. Match was 1-0 erisman at the time.
152 - Buck decisions Wiscombe 6-1 or 7-1 (something like that)

buck almost pinned him - it was a pretty lively match, better than their first one at Basehor. I didn't see their match this week. The SFT coaches got pretty pissed about the back points - I couldn't tell what they were arguing for, but I was on the other side of the gym.

103-SFT Kid
160-Medill
171-Demarest
189-Pingleton
215-SFT Kid

Erisman dominated the match even though
the score looked pretty close. He had Eden on
the defensive the entire time.

MVFan - didn't Hartshorn from Tongie beat Dewitt from SFT at 215? It was a close match, but I think the Tongie kid won.

Cody Bell beat Eric Retliff(spelling)14-7 closer than it sounds beacuse Eric was winning at one point in the match.Sean Flynn beat Hunter Samuals 4-0. Waters blew by everybody and i think he pinned everybody in the first period.

103 Mundy sft
112 Bell BL
119 Waters Lansing
125 Fulton sft
130 Middleton Bonner
135 Connelly sft
140 Schmale sft
145 Erisman Desoto
152 Buck BL
160 Medill Lansing
171 Demarest Lansing
189 Pingleton MV
215 Hartshorn Tong
275 Tongie kid, can't think of his name.
Trail won for sixth straight year with 195 points with Bonner 2nd with 180? Lansing 3rd, Basehor 4th, Tongie 5th, Mill Valley 6th.

The Trail coach's weren't pissed about the back points. The argument was the blood time. Wiscombe had blood all over his forehead before the back points occurred but the match was not stopped until a scramble after the back points had occurred. Not a big deal but Wiscombe looked to score a reversal after the back when they did stop it for blood. Buck looked like a man on a mission to win something! Like a state title!
I don't know if i call a butt tilt almost pinning him but he did get a five count. I couldn't pin my g-ma in a butt tilt. Erisman was far from dominating Eden. It was a very intense match when Erisman Head and Healed him to his back.
Good luck to all the Kaw Valley League Wrestlers at regionals.
And someone please tell the poor Bonner Springs fan that you can coach in a blood or injury time out now. You Bonner Guys do know how to liven up a gym! Hope you do well at 5a.

Waters pinned Yates from Mill Valley in the finals. Yates ducked him and was going around behind and got tossed.

Coach Wiscombe -
Sorry about the "almost pinned him" statement. You are right, it was just a tilt. Like I said, I was on the other side of the gym watching the conso final. I talked to a friend who watched more closely and he told me it was just a tilt. Anyway - what a great rivalry! I wish Buck was a year or two younger so we could see that one again for the next few years.

Brandon is a great wrestler. Personally, I'll be rooting for him except against Justin as I do for all league foes. Last year it was Dukes. You Basehor guys have been hard on Justin but in the long run, it will be good for him. I'm sure you will have some young guys coming up to replace Brandon. Coach Phippen will do a great job with the kids club. That makes 3 x trail guys in Basehors system. I'm pretty proud of all of them!

Waters was up 2-0 (just the takedown from the toss!)
