I know it is hard to compare teams in Kansas from all the classes. But, I was wondering who every thought was the toughest team in Ks. My vote goes to Hoxie, or Abilene, maybe Bishop Carroll, I don't know, give me your replies please, oh won't somebody help me!

i'd say herington, they only have half a squad and they're still ranked 7th in the state as a team. None of them are state champions but they've all got the discipline and heart to get it taken care of.

no, not herrington, Buhler beat them out at the Goddard tournament and we have half a squad...and we are nowhere near the best team.

How about the whole NWKL (Quinter not included)? You also have to put Norton in there I think.

Belleville has my vote.

So this kid is putting on his shoes right, and his mom says, honey you're putting your shoes on the wrong feet, and the little kid says, no mom these are my feet

I always thought the best way to guess who is the best team in the state is to look at how individuals do at kids state. Some individuals just dominate no matter what class they are in.

This kind of hurts but I think Turner might be they have both quality and numbers. Hoxie and Abilene have quality but not the numbers. I think Turner and a healthy Hoxie are pretty close.

WOW! Herrington had a champion?! That was one of the most ridiculous comments ive heard. Yes, Herrington has some good kids, namely Cody Bell (the 135 lb CHAMPION) but you can not put Herrington on a list of some of the best teams in the state regardless of their size.

And Buhler is 4a definitely not huge like you eluded to, and at the Goddard tournament they had had 112 through 171.

I wasn't sure about the size of the school that's why i asked. but if you don't wanna believe our guys are tough have all beat some of the best wrestlers in every class which i believe proves they should be considered one of the toughest teams. There's colby monnington and tyler bell i think you got a little confused

and you have more people on the team you've got 10 we've got 7 and in a pool like the tournament was you should have more points, the question is how many of your wrestlers beat ours?
