Who do others think will win between these two wrestlers? Taplin would be my pick easily. I am not impressed with Sharpe at all. What do others think?

Sharpe will win i think. Luedke and Drennan will also be a good match this weekend at the Beloit tourney.

My choice for this week's upset special is Sharpe over Taplin. I probably wouldn't have considered this to be an upset, but did so after seeing the support Taplin has received earlier in the post.

You really are a tool, Luedke wrestles pretty well on the national level, I have seen him lose but I've never seen him get ripped apart!~!

I'm gonna have to agree with Les on this one. Sharpe over Taplin. It will be close, but still Sharpe will win.

I remember back in the good old days when the NWKL used to cheer for its own when they wrestled a non-league foe. Too bad that's not still true, huh Walz?

Nobody will destroy Luedke. It will be a good match. I've seen them both wrestle and they are both solid. Don't forget that Luedke has probably only lost five or six high school matches in his career and I don't think he got torn up in any of them.
Sharpe/Taplin will be a good match as well. I can't understand how anyone would say they haven't been impressed with Sharpe at ALL?? Give me a break, Second in state last year and a 20-1 record doesn't impress you at ALL. Wow, tough standards.

Well it doesn't matter who I'm going for Les, the fact of the matter is that Taplin is my pick like it or not. I was Sharpe wrestle Ross and I was not impressed. Sharpe won by a couple points. But a couple years ago when Ross wrestled Taplin, Ross got handled. So like it or not Taplin is my pick. :p

gwalz, don't let anybody ever convince you it is wrong to give an objective opinion!!! I love reading opinions that are not always full of bias. If I type was instead of saw, I know you all will forgive me, with out any sarcasm. Thanks in advance.

Fanatic -
Thanks for being there to keep me in line - just having a little fun along the way.
One question though - is it ok if I continue to voice my biased opinions on this forum even if they are usually more subjective than objective - e.g. like the one Walz originally found fault with?
Or do you only voice support for the opinions of those who have not disagreed with you in the past?
And another question if Sharpe beats Taplin - which I feel he will - will my opinion still be biased? Objectively, biased? Or just a good call?

Sharpe and Taplin should be a classic. I have to go with Ross in Double O.T. Luedke is never out of position and very mat smart. Drennan will have trouble scoring on his tough defense. Luedke's freestyle experiance will win it for him. Luedke over Drennan 5-3.
